Azine Speakers Bureau

Members and Friends of the Azine are available for speaking engagements on the Asian American Movement, its history, and current issues today. Many of us have been active since the beginning of the Movement, others are newer activists. If interested, e-mail us!

Michael Liu:

is a founder of the AAMovement website and the Azine. A founding member of the Chinese Progressive Association and Asian American Resource Workshop in Boston, MA. he is also active in the Asian Pacific American Agenda Coalition.

Lydia Lowe:

is a Boston-based activist who is Co-Director of the Boston Chinese Progressive Association and is a former member of I Wor Kuen and the League of Revolutionary Struggle.
 

Giles Li:

Giles Li is a spoken word poet from Boston who first made his way into the national performance poetry scene as a member of re: verse, an Asian American spoken word duo. He is an organizer and advocate for the Asian American community, urban youth, and the arts community in Boston and nationally.
